The term “cosmetologist” was coined by Dr. Paul Mitchell in 1988.
Nowadays, it refers to anyone who has a background in cosmetomy, including the more advanced practitioners, who specialize in making permanent, temporary, and/or temporary cosmetic treatments.
The name has also been used to describe people who specialize only in cosmetic surgery.
Mitchell, who is retired, said that he and his wife, Kathy, decided to name the specialty after their daughter, who suffers from the rare genetic disorder Tay-Sachs disease, which makes her body less sensitive to sunlight.
The family decided to go with the name “cosmetic” after seeing the beauty products they wanted to make, including a skincare line.
Mitchell said that when he and Kathy began working on their cosmetics business, they were concerned about the lack of access to cosmetic services in areas like rural areas.
He said that they had to educate themselves on what they needed to do, and what products they needed.
Mitchell and his team, called the Mitchell Cosmetology Associates, are now offering private, private consultations for cosmetic services.
He also sells online courses that are taught by the team, and provides training materials.
The Mitchell Cosmatology Associates are offering an online class that can be completed in 30 minutes.
Mitchell has been practicing in the state of Arizona for 17 years.
He and his business partner, Paula Mitchell, started the Mitchell and Jones Cosmetologie in 2009.
The company has about 70 employees and employs about 30 people.
The business has since grown to about 80 people, with some of those in the retail business.
Mitchell also runs the Mitchell Cosmetic School, a private private, online course that is offered at his home.
He has also worked with the Cosmetologist Association of America, which represents cosmetic surgeons in the U.S. and Canada.
He serves on its Board of Directors.
Mitchell is not alone in having cosmetic surgery as a specialty.
According to the National Center for State Health Statistics, cosmetic surgery performed in the United States increased from $7.6 billion in 2008 to $13.3 billion in 2016.
According in 2016, more than one million people had cosmetic surgery procedures, including breast augmentation, nose surgery, and liposuction.
